Jacket C/O Get The Label | Dress C/O Chi Chi | Shoes Dorothy Perkins
Ever put on a dress and think “this is the one!” Okay, this only really happened for me when I tried on my wedding dress, but with this dress I almost (very nearly) got the same kinda feels! This style of dress is definitely my thing, in fact, I was pretty sad that I didn’t have a wedding to attend soon so I could wear it. I felt like a 1950’s Glamour Puss. Generally speaking this is not the kind of outfit posts I share as I tend to stick to my more casual, everyday looks but lets face it, this dress just had to be shared.
I kinda got snap happy with this one. Purely and simply because it felt so good to wear. I felt like a Prinny! Swooshing around never felt so easy. The dress itself is lined with a petticoat of a similar colour so you don’t have to worry about finding one that is the same length as the dress. Whilst it is a little heavy, it falls just perfectly because of that.
I paired it with my long-line blazer jacket just to keep my shoulders warm. Whilst it’s been a sunny weekend, it’s been pretty nippy when you’re not in the sun. Along with my pointed stilettos from Dorothy Perkins, I made sure it was a really simplistic look. To let the dress do the talking & nothing else.
There’s nothing more I adore than finding an outfit or dress that just ticks so many boxes that it leaves you smiling from ear to ear. Just like this Chi Chi Clothing dress! Do you have a dress that just makes you feel like a million dollars?
