Oh boy, am I ready for Christmas this year. I have so much excitement in my bones that if I burst I think you’d hear Christmas Carols coming out of me rather than any form of loud, eploding bang. The Christmas tree at work is finally up, (and I think ours will be this weekend, too.) Plus we have Christmas Market’s, a festive weekend away and a Christmas Party to also think about. Let’s just say I’m going freaking in on the festivities this year and y’all better be here for it too. And with every festive period brings reasons for new footwear, so I’ve teamed up with the Victoria Shopping in Leeds (the swankiest shopping mall to hit Leeds in quite a few years.) I’ve also got another sneaky post for you in the form of the perfect pair of party heels, but this one is dedicated to all things boots. So strap yourself in and enjoy!
For me, a classic Chelsea Boot must frequent your wardrobe all year round. They are chic, keep your feet warm and are oh-so comfy. There was so many pairs to choose from that it was overwhelming, but my attention zoomed in to focus on this gorgeous pair from Cos Stores. The epitome of scandi-minimalistic style, Cos is always a firm winner for both quality and comfort. The boots were so well made and had a glorious shine to them that didn’t look tacky nor over the top. When I popped them on they were like heaven. I almost didn’t want to take them off. In fact, they’ve been added to my Christmas wishlist so I’m hoping Santa delivers, that, or I treat myself in the sales! And whilst they aren’t the cheapest pair I know that they’ll last and will be like fluffy, white clouds on my pain-stricken feet.
THE HEELED PATENT LEATHER BOOT
Oh boy do I have a thing for patent leather at the moment. Okay, yes, it might look at little tacky and oh-so very 90’s but hey, I left my heart in 1998 when the Spice Girls let Geri leave for the first time! So sue me. Every gal needs a decent pair of heeled boots in their life though, am I right? The way they can jazz up that all important “jeans and nice top” style that you got going on for an impromptu curry night or that quick drink you forgot about after work. There is nothing a heeled boot cannot achieve for you. Period. These from Russell & Bromley caught my eye because I loved the zip detail. Eat your heart out Geri Halliwell.
THE KNEE HIGH BOOT
I was so close to choosing a pair of over the knee, thigh high boots but I thought against it (as much as I love them) My mind got thinking about our little weekend away in the woods and what I’d wear and it was almost as if the God’s sang to me. A beaming light came from the sky and landed on this fluffy lined pair in Russell & Bromley. If it ain’t the quirkiness, it sure is the quality of them that will get you. Sturdy, yet very fashionable, this pair certainly would get people talking and they’d keep my calves warm too! I can hear them now, “Oh that is a pretty pair of boots that adorn your thick calves Bee.”
Ah yes, I can hear them now.
So, there you have it, three of my favourite pairs of boots that I found shopping at the Victoria, Leeds. I can’t decide which pair I love the most as they are all so different. I think I love them in equal measure.
Do you have a favourite pair?
