Guys, if I haven’t bored you already with my relentless posts about Christmas, well I’m afraid I might be verging on that edge pretty soon. I just can’t help it. Once pay-day hit and I could go wild with buying Christmas presents it all started to sink in that Christmas is very nearly upon us. I’ve got in the mood with the Designer Outlet York to bring you some of my top Christmas Wishlist items that either I’d love to find in my stocking or think would be a rather awesome gift for a loved one. And, with so many discounts and offers under one roof at the Designer Outlet York, I’ll be damned if I don’t get all my Christmas shopping finished soon!
So, shall we get cracking with some super ideas for your loved ones? (Oh, and maybe a few sneaky things for me too!)
1. LUGGAGE
If you’re a bit of a traveller like me, having a funky suitcase is always a must. Plus, it’s easier to find on the luggage carousel when you jump off a plane (see, not just a pretty face!) There’s quite a few suitcase and luggage stores within the Designer Outlet, but this leopard print one from Kipling really caught my eye. Not only did it look super cool, it was really lightweight and had loads of room with different compartments. Perfect for keeping toiletries and clothes separate. SOLD!
2. MOLTON BROWN GIFT SETS
I am the worlds biggest Molton Brown fan, in fact I think I have a little obsession. If I don’t have one bottle of it on the go, there’s really five! They are one of life’s little pleasures and a long soak using their luxurious products is something you should always make time for! The great thing about Molton Brown is a lot of their fragrances are unisex, so most people I know would happily accept a preciously wrapped box of MB goodies! There were so many to choose from in store, would it be wrong of me to buy all of them?
3. HOMEWARE FROM LE CREUSET
I mean, is a house really a home without a dish from Le Creuset? And if you haven’t got one then you need to rectify this immediately. The wonderful thing about their crockery are the vast colours on offer. Who knew porcelain homeware could look so bright and colourful? Mr C loves cooking in the kitchen and is forever wishing he had some really decent dishes to cook chilli’s and lasagne’s in. So who knows what’s being wrapped in the infamous Le Creuset orange wrapping paper by the lovely sales assistant here. Wink wink!
4. A FANCY WATCH
I have to admit, I feel slightly naked if I forget to wear my watch! So, having a classic time piece is a must for me. It’s also one of those presents that you don’t mind splashing the cash on to get something that may last a life time. We popped in to the Watch Shop and I loved all the different ranges they had but I was really drawn to some of the Michael Kor’s watches. Not only did they look timeless, they were just a bit “different” such as the typeface of the numbers on the clock face – making them look a tad more unusual. There were plenty of discounts to be had as well, that’s what makes shopping at the Designer Outlet more bearable to my bank balance!
6. SOMETHING BLUE FROM LEVIS?
Okay, it’s not a wedding but Levis at the Designer Outlet in York is a good shout for kitting someone’s wardrobe out. With deals such as two pairs of jeans for £99 and massive reductions on t-shirts, jackets and shoes, you’d be hard-pressed to not find a bargain here. I know that Mr C would appreciate a couple of pairs of new jeans this Christmas! And, let’s face it, everyone knows my love for vintage Levis. (Okay, maybe this one is REALLY for my Christmas Wishlist. OOPS!)
And, talking of clothes….
7. A KILLER CHRISTMAS PARTY OUTFIT AND THE PERFECT PAIR OF HEELS TO MATCH!
The Designer Outlet York not only hosts a whole shopping mall of fantastic reductions, but it’s on amazing, high-end brands. So, picking up a Christmas Party outfit here is definitely not out of the woods, plus you’ll feel extra special wearing a designer outfit for the fraction of the price. I know I do! My favourite places to shop for dresses and special outfits have to be L K Bennett, Reiss and Gant! They all sell classic, timeless pieces that you’ll be able to wear time and time again – which means even more value for money!
If you fancy having a break from all the shopping, there’s the Winter Wonderland to enjoy, with rides, ice skating and more to enjoy. It might be a deal sweetener for all those long suffering boyfriends and husband’s out there!

I still can’t believe that Christmas is very nearly upon us, but hopefully I’ll have finished my gift shopping very soon and I can start enjoying the festivities and relax a little bit. I’m definitely in the mood for a few mulled wines soon (I think I deserve it!)
