Okay, okay. It’s not THAT simple because some of us might not be as body confident to wear whatever the heck we like (A bodycon? That’s a no from me.) We are constantly told what we should wear to suit our body shape and it’s not always as plain and simple as that. I’ve never liked being told what to do.

I’ve wrote numerous pieces about the fact that the high street very rarely cater for the curvier side of spectrum for size 12’s. We got tall ranges, we got petite too, but we don’t have a curves section (unless you are a size 16 and over, generally speaking.) Girl, I got curves. Help me out here. Luckily, Celuu have answered my prayers and whilst they aren’t on the high street I know I can rely on them. Now that I’ve had a few pieces from the collection, I can trust that they are true to size and do cater for the curvier end of a size 12 and up.

THANK THE LORD! PRAISE JESUS!

I’m pretty much IN LOVE with my white knot top, it’s perfectly on trend and not only that, it doesn’t cling to areas of my body in a way that I wouldn’t want it to (the way other shops clothing might.) To finish the look off, I’ve paired it with these black cropped jeans. It’s a match made in heaven. Perfect for the office and a lunch date with a friend. And finally the shoes & bag are from the trusty Marks & Spencers. The latter has even been featured in Vogue.

And whilst this look on paper, probably shouldn’t suit someone my shape it actually does. Because Celuu understand us. They know us curvier gals, we don’t want to be pigeon holed in to wearing the same style of outfits – day in, day out and it’s nice to see a retailer understand that and cater with different cuts and patterns. Goddam it I do not wanna see another butterfly on a top/dress/skirt/scarf ever again. Because finally, SOMEONE REALLY DOES GET IT.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if more retailers, rolled up their socks and saw this as an opportunity to embrace a bit more equality within the industry?

Because trust me, for us size 12, curvy gals, this shit is golden.

And, wouldn’t it be lovely to win a full wardrobe from Celuu worth £1000?

I can see you nodding from over here? Well, you can enter here.

So, if you are a size 12-22 #womanboss who wants #winningcurves, go enter and see for yourself!

Where do you shop for a curvier frame? I’d love to know.
