LAST MINUTE LUXURY VALENTINES GIFT GUIDE | QUEENBEADY

February 12, 2017

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

Without trying to assume, this post is probably reaching out to a demographic that will be spending their hard earned cash on a female counterpart this Valentines Day. The day that has been called out for being just another “consumerism day” that retailers have added to our calendar over the years to bridge that gap between both Christmas and Easter and get some extra bank rolling in. But, as much as you love to hate it, it is here to stay. It’s not something that’s going to change so if you are really struggling to decide on something to give to a loved one, this handy last minute guide might just help!

1. A fragrance

We will love you forever if a pretty, little, ribbon-tied Jo Malone bag appears in front of us. We will probably squeal with delight because let’s face it, Jo Malone just oozes with luxury, am I right? Or why not treat them to something a little different like the Neom Organics Energy boost scent that has just launched. Not only is the  bottle super gorgeous, it’s another brand that just screams “I REALLY THOUGHT ABOUT THIS PRESENT!”

2. A Trip

It doesn’t have to be abroad, it could be in the UK. I would highly recommend a little break to a Darwin Escape Lodge Retreat. We have just returned from a gorgeous weekend break at the Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat, complete with gorgeous views and a spa. You’ll feel revitalised without having to set foot on a plane. Or, if you do crave  foreign lands why not head to SkyScanner to see if you can find any bargain flights!

3. A Card

If gift giving isn’t your thing Hallmark have an amazing range of cards to send to a loved one, most of which can be found in your local Tesco. Sometimes it really is just the thought that counts to let someone know that you are thinking of them. Even if you do have VDAY, spending £1.50 won’t break the bank and it will definitely make someone’s day. I thought this cute, nuatical inspired card was just the cutest.

4. A Box of Chocs

Let’s face it, Charbonnel Et Walker chocolates are the dreamiest chocolates you will ever get your grubby little mitts on. And the fact that these cute, pint-sized boxes come in a little heart-shaped box makes it even more romantic!

5. A little somethin’ somethin’ Accessory Inspired

Without having to guess what someone’s dress size is and making a huge error (super awks!) why not play it safe with accessories. A bag, a scarf or even a pair of sunglasses
(‘cos Spring is on it’s way!) you might just win someone over without offending them! Bonus.

6. Something a little different…
