Okay, if you read this blog or follow me on social media you will know that I am rather in to my festivals. There’s something so freeing about having a cider in one hand, festival glitter all over my face and an earful of really amazing, loud music. We only live a 5 minute drive away from my beloved Leeds Festival so it’s guaranteed that our yearly visit always happens. Not only do I love the experience when I’m there, I love to get hyped by creating playlists of those bands I adore already and new finds that I can’t wait to hear for the first time live. The guys at Panasonic* sent me their latest, wireless speaker – the ALL05, to get me in the mood even more. My Spotify playlists have been off the hook as of late!
This amazing piece of kit not only blasts out some serious bass out of it’s tiny little structure, it’s even waterproof. So I can even get my jam on in the bath without fear of splashing it. (You can even submerge it in up to 1m of water!) In this day and age we are more connected than ever before, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram – digital is something some people only know of (someone even asked me what a fax was the other day – does that mean I am old?) The ALL05 allows you to connect all your devices in the home to the speaker, so you can listen to your favourite music or podcasts at the touch of a button. (That also means I can turn Mr C’s head banging music off pretty sharpish!)
It even looks insta-worthy in the classic white design! (I promise I didn’t pick it just because of that… Promise.)
Watching live music at Festivals is always fun but sometimes it’s nice to just head back to your tent for the obligatory cider and Pot Noodle tea, it’s almost gospel that one of us will crank up some music of our own and have a little tent party! And I’ll definitively be taking along the ALL05 for some serious sound quality to get our groove on to.
There’s so many bands I want to see this year, from Haim (who I was gutted that pulled out last year!) to Fatboy Slim (the Father of House music!)
I’m even more excited to see Blossoms, even though I’ve seen them 3 times already, they are so blumming amazing live, they sound almost identical to their recorded album which is a mean fete for a band! Out of all the headliners, Kasabian, Muse & Eminem, it’s the latter I’m looking forward to most. This will be my second time seeing the “Real Slim Shady” but my goodness, he puts on a pretty epic show and lets face it, his tunes are known worldwide and will be sure to get the crowd going!
With t-minus 24 hours till I’m back dancing and singing merrily in a field it only seems right to share a playlist of the bands I’m super excited to see! I know for a fact I’ll be blasting it out on my ALL05 at the campsite.
