Striped Dress
Coat C/O Bon Marche | Dress Boohoo | Tights Primark | Boots C/O Online Avenue | Bag C/O LYDC Bags

After heading to Brunch at Ox Club, Headrow House on Saturday with Sophie, Jenna and Carrie-Anne it seemed rude not to make the most of the white-washed walls that greet you at this super-cool new Leeds venue, to create the perfect ”OOTD” post. Saturday was a pretty full on day, with a leisurely brunch in the morning with good friends, it was a dash across town to #LeedsXmasMeet and then after that, another hop, skip and jump to the #LaRedouteBloggerXmasParty. It was all systems go and doing it on a hangover was pretty testing at times. I’m pretty sure it was a little daring to do outfit shots of a tight dress with a carb-filled tummy, but heck, who the hell cares. What is perfection anyway?

LYDC BAG FUR CROC RANGE

I have an endless love affair with both stripes and roll necks. It’s a run-in joke that that is all I seem to wear (hashtag oops) but I couldn’t resist adding to the joke by purchasing this gorgeous ribbed dress from Boohoo the other day. I love the colours and it just feels so wintery that it was the perfect dress/excuse for something new in my wardrobe. I paired it with black tights and my ever-faithful duster coat from Bon Marche.

I’ve worn these boots to death. I’m always complimented on them and I can safely say that not only do they look the bomb diggity, they are actually a really comfy pair of shoes that I know are going to see me through many events and days out that require adding a heel to the outfit. There’s nothing worse than finding your dream pair of boots and them being uncomfortable, I’m pretty darned lucky. So thank you, Online Avenue for making pretty sweet shoes.

Last but not least this gorgeous faux fur, black bag from LYDC is every inch the most perfect bag. It’s just the right size for all essential blog items, big DSLR camera, chunky notepad, phones and lots more. Not only does it have a great big whopping fur front, the rest of it is a faux leather croc pattern and it’s so dreamy. Make it a shopper bag or a long strapped option (which is great for someone like me) it’s so versatile to take from a day to night look, plus it’s black, so it’s a win/win situ for me.

Despite it blowing an absolute gale (wtf are these 80mph winds all about?) I think Sophie did an amazing job capturing the outfit (and ahem, my rather rounded belly) and I love it when we get together. She’s an absolute doll!

How are you keeping warm in this crazy weather? Have you ever bought a bag from LYDC? You really should check out there range here and let me know what your favourite is! Plus you can get a 10% discount by using the code “BEE10” when entered at the checkout!
