#JBColour

Top C/O Joe Browns
I’m a classic “does it come in black?” kinda gal! There’s something pretty chic about black purely because it just makes you feel really sophisticated and classic (& sometimes hides that extra potion of chips a lil better, Y’allll know what I’m saying, right?) but really, sometimes I just want to show off my my more adventurous side.

I have always been a fan of the “prairie” style and often find myself looking at pretty embroidered denim or floaty tops and get caught up in the ease of this fun, 70’s vibe!

This Joe Browns top is exactly what I love. The smock style/ gypsy top with threads of bursting colour. It worked so well as a cover up on our recent holiday to Madeira with Ice Lolly (more on that to follow!)

It’s got purples, pinks, yellows, blues all dashing through the neckline on a white, crepe finish. Pair this with some boyfriend/girlfriend jeans & you are most definitely on to a winner.

I got thinking about colour. In my younger days I loved nothing more than experimenting with colours and patterns and then suddenly I had to adult, so black became my staple colour.

When I look at the above photo (albeit the sun probably helped) I’m smiling, so happily! I’ve now made a pledge to myself to liven my wardrobe up just a smidge because colour can always put a smile on someone’s face! #JBColourful has most definitely taught me that!

When it comes to Spring/Summer do you add a pop of colour to your wardrobe? Or do you stick to the classic hues of blacks, whites, creams & greys? Let me know!
