Recently I was asked to be a part of the Bon Marche Catwalk at Lamberts Yard, Leeds. I was super pleased as I love an excuse to get my make-up done and put on a pair of heels! It also gave us the chance to have a sneak peek of Bon Marche’s AW15 range that is due to land soon. Now, forgive me for thinking that Bon Marche is somewhere my Nana might shop but it seems that they are upping their style stakes and adding classic pieces to the range that will stand the test on time. It was time for myself and a few other fellow bloggers, Kellie, Kristina, & Jennie to walk the pink carpet!
I have to say that out of all the outfits, this red dress was my favourite. It’s classic and elegant, perfect for going to dinner. Pair it with some pointed court shoes and it looks like you are ready to take on the world! This dress was part of the new ”Ornamental Glamour” range which is a late summer range that is ready for an occasion.
This outfit was a winner from me, it just seemed to fall so effortlessly. It didn’t cling to the areas that another outfit might. Part of the ”Boho Pastels” range this is the casual set that is a little nod to the 70’s vibe that is so big at the moment. Rather than trying to copy-cat some of the younger high street retailers, it’s taken a different approach using a more subtle colour palette and creating sharp lines without being too harsh.
I have to say that one of my favourite pieces from the line was the black trench coat, modelled by the gorgeous Kristina. It’s safe to say that everyone & I mean everyone was drooling over this coat. I know what I might be purchasing for the cooler months this year and it comes in the form of this long, lined black coat!
This jumper and skirt combination was a hit with all the other bloggers, they loved the pattern from this range, ”Tribal Graphics” which features plenty of big, bold floral prints. Celebrity designer David Emmanuel has designed this range exclusively with Bon Marche.
I got to spend some time with my fellow bloggers and indulge in a glass of prosecco too, there’s nothing like meeting up with my blog friends because we could just gas/natter and chat all night long. After going googly-eyed over all the pieces we were also shown the Ann Harvey range too.
The great thing about Bon Marche’s collections are exclusive to them & with a ‘buy now wear now’ motto that means you don’t have to wait to wear your new clothes. These pieces will take you through Autumn right up until Christmas and beyond – meaning you can get as much wear out of them as you want. Some of the pieces also seem to be classic that you can keep for many years to come.
Have you seen the new Bon Marche range? Do you think they are starting to appeal to a slightly younger age bracket?
