Christmas is not too far away and with the Black Friday sales imminent I thought it would be a great time to share with you a Christmas gift edit. As much as I’d love to bring you a gift edit that includes divine and scrumptious gifts, I thought a Christmas stocking fillers edit would be a great cause for those working on a tighter budget or for those who do Secret Santa’s within the workplace with a certain price limit on them. Hopefully some of these ideas will tickle your fancy and get you thinking when it comes to buying a gift for those you love.
Firstly when Amara asked me if I wanted to feature some of their (dreamy) collection on my blog I had an absolute field day browsing their website. The choice is vast with a varying price ranges. This Kate Spade dust bag literally jumped off the page to me as I know I’ve been looking for the perfect bag to store my wedding shoes, my beloved Jimmy’s, in for some time. This bag was £14 and in the grand scheme of Kate Spade, it a bargain! It’s the perfect pairing for two beautiful items.
Not only that, but Amara has some brilliant “Blogger-Esque” gifts too. Especially this wonderful notebook that’s dedicated to “Emails to write and calls to make” – a great way of keeping track of what you need to do, this is from the Sloane Stationery collection and it just oozes luxury – for £12.99, any stationery lover would be happy with this. Alongside this is the super cute floral, enamel mug from the Caroline Gardener range and what blogger doesn’t love a mug? It retails at £9 which is a little pricey but it is worth it!
I have an obsession with candles. I have already admitted this on many occasions. I can guarantee you, the first thing I do when I get back from work (aside from get in to some comfy PJ’s) is light lots of candles. I just love the atmosphere they create and also the smells they disperse and it’s no different with these two fragrances courtesy of House of Fraser. The cinnamon & ginger candles literally scream Christmas, with it’s rich scent you can almost smell the gingerbread cookies in the oven and see the candy canes hanging from the tree. I just love how the candle has big sticks of cinnamon melted in to the candle itself. The White Christmas diffuser has a fresher smell to it, just what I like! Both are under £20 and because they are quite mammoth sizes they will last a lot longer.
Dot Creates is a cute independent online Shop that is ran by Danielle who is a London/Essex based illustrator. Her quirky and ‘hit the nail on the head’ pinterest-esque illustrated quotes are exactly the little pick me up that a lot of us need from time to time. From cute A5 postcards to the notebooks there is something for every stationery or home design lover out there. All you need to do is buy some frames and you could decorate your home to your hearts content. From as little as £3.50 you can afford to get a couple for someone (or even yourself!) With super fast delivery, you know it’s coming from somewhere reliable.
Okay, you have to hear me out with this one. Have you ever heard of Jysk? Some of you nodding but the majority of you looking blankly at the screen. Well, the best way I can describe it is Ikea come Wilkos come Primark Home. But it’s oh-so reasonable and very good value. I picked up these two framed quotes for under £2.50 each. We are currently decorating the house so this was more of a gift from me to me, however, they are a great little pick-me-up for someone you love and for someone who loves black and white!
Have you started Christmas shopping yet? Are you a keeno or a leave it till the last minute kinda gal? Hopefully my post will have inspired you – if not, I have a Black Friday edit coming this week in anticipation of the big sales this week.
