I’ve currently said “CIAO BELLA” to the UK and I’m swanning around the South of France (so the translation would have been better in French, but hey, I’m not too far from the Italian border right now so let’s forgive me for that rookie error. Shall we?) I’ve been dying to say “Goodbye UK” since my last trip, but even more so since the Referendum. I’m all about spreading good vibes and sadly, the Brexit situ has kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. I’m sure most of you will agree with me.
There’s currently so much hate in the world, sexism, racism and the rest. There is no real compassion towards others anymore and as a society in 2K16, it scares me that people still aren’t tolerable of other people’s cultures, religions or race. It almost feels like we’ve been transported back 50 years or so. I really like to think that it’s a small minority of people that are spreading these Neggy Nelly vibes, but I feel the referendum has only fuelled these radicalised thoughts and actions, since then. It really is a scary place at the moment.
On to a much lighter note, I mentioned earlier that I am currently swanning around Nice, a beautiful city on the South of France. I’m out here working with University Rooms to experience gorgeous cities like this on a budget and also with Travelex where I am being challenged to create incredible, luxury experiences for less! I’m so excited to share with you all, everything that I have got up to whilst I’m out here. Exploring the winding streets and trying to spot a celeb or two is so much better when wearing the right pair of shoes to do it in too.
