3 WAYS I’VE STYLED MY MAXWELL SCOTT BAG FOR THE OFFICE
My Atessa Bag from Maxwell Scott has been gifted – 3 ways I’ve styled my Maxwell Scott Bag for the office.
I’ve tried holding off delving too far in to my autumn winter wardrobe this year. One, because I wasn’t quite ready to stop wearing my Birkenstocks just yet and two, because I have a winter sun holiday very soon & the crossover of seasonal style just wasn’t working out for me. However, over the last two weeks I’ve had to stick my neck out on the line and accept a slight defeat, it was time to roll out the roll necks, suck everything in to pairs of tights and even get the winter boots out. Here’s 3 ways I’ve styled my Maxwell Scott bag for the office.
First up, these checked Capri style trousers that I picked up from a local charity shop are actually from the Marks & Spencers collab with Alexa Chung. I’ve had to wait a few months to fit in to them but the time is finally here and I can actually zip them up now. I paired it with some classic black, mid heel pumps to give me a bit of height and a cosy white jumper should be a staple in anyone’s wardrobe. The tan coloured bag added a little bit of colour to this rather monotone style!
I love, love, love this look. After seeing Ericapost on her stories about THAT Zara dress and it being in more prints I just knew I had to get on the bandwagon this time. I fell for the leopard print which is a classic style for going in to autumn, different variations of browns are definitely a go-to option for me! Obviously the dress is a little thin so I added a roll neck camel jumper, the same tone as the dress, to make sure I wasn’t shivering in my boots.
And finally, I wanted to try and style up my culottes for the cooler periods because lets face it, winter is exactly when we need elasticated waists! I wore the same square toed boots to keep my ankles warm and if I say so myself, I felt pretty sassy in this outfit. Once again a roll neck jumper was in order to bring in the colours from the Marks & Spencer’s jackets all together with the boots, culottes and bag. I’m trying to bring high fashion to the countryside and somehow it works!
I’m sure you can tell how much I love my embossed, tan leather handbag fron Maxwell Scott. How would you style it up?
