VALENTINES DAY GIFT GUIDE WITH BUILDMYGIFT.COM* | QUEENBEADY
February 3, 2018
Remember back in December I was your saviour for last-minute gifts, okay, maybe that is just a little stretch from the truth. But, so many of you found some super cool gift ideas and managed to bag them in time before you could say “Nana’s drank too much sherry and fallen asleep on the turkey.” So, with Valentines Day just around the corner I wanted to bring another collaboration, a Valentines Day Gift Guide with BuildMyGift for when any of you had completely forgotten to buy a loved one a prezzie!
Once again my parcel arrived quickly in a gorgeous, bow wrapped box. What girl doesn’t like a delivery like this on her doorstep every once in a while, huh?
Of course, once I opened it I was even more giddy. In true V-DAY style, the box was complete with (faux!) rose petals and buds to decorate the items inside.
Who says you can’t send yourself your own valentines present?
I picked out a couple of items to treat myself to. Some brands I know and love, such as Whittards and Charbonnel et Walker Chocolates and others brands that I have only just come across.
The beauty ofBuildMyGift.com is simple, they have gifts for all price ranges, but without compromising on quality products. One of their most exciting brands to join the gang this year was Skinny Dip – a quirky accessory brand that includes jazzy phone cases, ultra cool sunnies and more.
Of course, a girl loves chocolates. And not just ANY chocolates will do on Valentines, no sirree. A bit of thought needs to go in to it (oh who am I kidding, give me any chocolate and I’ll be a happy gal!) But, if you’re looking for something that little bit extra special, then only Charbonnel et Walker’s will do! With different style boxes from heart-shaped to long, rectangular boxes you can customise your box to your heart (and wallets) content. Who’s for Champagne…. truffles?
There is the option to buy a pre-selected Valentines Day special box, (my favourite has to be theGin O’clock one!) but if you want to make the box a little more sentimental you can select and choose all different bits to make the perfect, personalised box instead – which is exactly what I have done.
I also chose a little book of How to be Happy by Anna Barnes, perfect for those days you need reminding of how you can enrich your life even more. A “Bee” necklace by Estella Bartlett, which I thought was very apt. And, finally to carry on a chocolate theme I added a Whittards Chocolate Spoon for making a homemade hot chocolate (I’ve heard so many good things about them!) – I can’t wait to snuggle up and read my book with a hot cup of coco!
And, when you’ve finished indulging in your own Valentines day gifting (to me, with love me!) you can also order something for your male, other half too. There’s a gorgeous pre-packed box for him that’s available, which includes some Haig Club Whiskey and Dolce & Gabbana aftershave.
Again, you can build your own box too, and there’s plenty of brands to fill a box with. I have my eye on a bottle of Hendricks Gin and some Happy Socks for Mr C. (As the years go by, socks become a rather good and sought after gift! Am I an adult now?)
And heck, if you’re not with someone this Valentines day, why not celebrate Galentines Day with your besty? Set a budget with one another and build your own custom box with BuildMyGift.com to share with each other on the big day! The perfect way to not feel left out on this holiday of love!
Have you used BuildMyGift.com before? Let me know if you have bought a box for your loved one!
