I love the idea of fashion being playful from time to time. Currently we are in the midst of #LFW (that is London Fashion Week to you & I) and we are seeing an array of quirkiness, to the downright chic outfits of this years September event. I was asked by the team at Ladbrokes to create a look for under £200 that I would wear to LFW and I wanted something that was current yet a classic trend that keeps coming back each year.
Khaki is a colour I love & it’s a tone that compliments my pale complexion I feel. In fact, I’ve always been a fan of green. Whilst putting together the look I centred it around this amazing H&M sweater with zip detail because I just thought it was so goddamn cool. In fear of making the outfit a little too boyish I added the Topshop A-line skirt and my favourite pair of peep toes from Public Desire! (I will get my hands on them come payday!)
I took a slightly different turn when it came to my bag. I wanted something that I could store everything in, without getting an ”achy” arm. So I thought of everything (all down to style and comfort) and chose this quilted backpack from New Look making my camera, notebook and everything else in between accessible at all times.
Of course, you can’t go wrong with a pair of sunglasses, you know to shield yourself from the en-masse of absolute cool that is going on around you at LFW. I chose this green-tinted from Silk Fred.
