I always feel like I should start beauty posts with a disclaimer. I’m no expert, I have very little interest in make up. However, recently I have been starting to feel like I need a bit of a boost when it comes to my looks. I’m not getting any younger and I most definitely look like an ogre out of a well-known film when I wake up on a morning.

So when I was given the chance to review these products I was a little scared as to how to review them. Again, for the record I don’t really have clue. So rather than deciding to just ”go with it” I thought I would check out some beauty vloggers such as Essie Button & Lily Melrose  to get some inspiration. I love how both of them do their make up, 1) because it looks so easy & 2) it always looks natural. That’s the look I wanted to achieve.

The answer is pretty much given away in the ”No Foundation Foundation” name, it really is just that. Despite it’s rather funny smell (does all make up smell funny?) it breezed on effortlessly with no smearing or getting stodgy in parts where it had quickly dried. I think this was down to the consistency of the liquid. Normally I’m going over & over & over with foundation because you perfect one part and ruin another. This was so easy to get right. YAY FOR ME! I started with a fresh, clean face and applied in the key areas and used my make up brush to ”smear” it all over my face. My blusher & eye shadow sat really nicely on top without it looking bitty. It is a perfect everyday base.

You know that part about me feelin’ old? Well, there is a solution to that too and it comes in the form of the ”Nutritive Cleanser” from the Perricone MD range too. Twice daily I apply this to my damp skin to rejuvenate the natural oils (I suffer from dry skin so it’s great!) and in the process my skin is feeling much more ”normal” from it. Goodbye flaky skin.

They aren’t the cheapest of products & I think you really need to buy in to them to warrant the price tag, however, if you are looking for a great base that lasts all day, that looks natural then this would be perfect for you.

Have you ever tried the Perricone MD range? What should I add to my wishlist?
