This Take It Easy tee from New Look was an impulse buy, one to bulk up an online order so I qualified for free delivery. Boy, am I glad I clicked add to basket with this one. It’s a casual piece, but a bit of a conversation starter because it’s a little different to the usual slogan t-shirts out there at the moment. I think what makes it one of my favourites is the red piping round the neck and sleeves. It’s kind of like the raglan tops that have that all-American feel to them. These photos were snapped by the gorgeous Sophie Cliff who I am so glad I’ve finally had the chance to meet!

We decided to head somewhere before The City Girls event to grab a quick caffeine fix for Sophie and super smoothie for me & then head to somewhere in and around Leeds to shoot some outfit photos together. We managed to come across this giant, old, orange door that stood out against all the tall, modern buildings and we just had to use it as our backdrop. I think the whole #DoorAppreciation thing swayed us on this little mini-shoot.
I’m sure you have seen this skirt over on my last outfit post, which you can find here – it’s a Topshop buy and was a steal at £28 (and it wasn’t even in the sale!) after treating myself to a mammoth shopping spree the week before, this skirt has been perfect for the warmer days! I’ve been struggling in the heat and this has literally saved my life a number of times in the short week, I’ve only had it. I can’t wait to head to a festival and dance a round in it.
You’ll have seen these Birkenstocks one too many times than I would like to admit, but they really are the only shoes I can bring myself to wear through the Summer. When Autumn comes around I’m almost sobbing as I put them back in to my wardrobe for another six months. Until we meet again, my trusty Birks! These gorgeous, long days are great & I’m loving making so many trips in to Leeds at the moment for lot’s of exciting events. It’s giving me the opportunity to meet new friends and also catch up with old blogging friends too. The opportunities I have had recently have been so much fun & I’m only more excited that hopefully more escapades come up in the future that I can be part of!
