I’ve been doing it again, shopping. But, hear me out will you! I’ve been back scouring the charity shops and came a cropper and became a proud owner of another 100% suede jacket that was originally from M&S. I paid £10 for the privilege but I can fast see this becoming on my staple jackets. However, the colour of it is a little difficult to pair up so I’m going to have to be a little careful when putting an outfit together that involves it.
I also did another type of shopping. Online shopping. Whilst I was a little disappointed with the Black Friday offerings on Boohoo, I still couldn’t resist picking this fisherman’s jumper up, along with a dress for another event next weekend! It’s not as thick as my other jumpers and it’s slightly synthetic but it’s actually hella warm, I mean, really warm.
Paired with my trusty boyfriend jeans from Warehouse and my boots from Online Avenue, this outfit is perfect for a little shopping/lunch date with friends, super easy and very cosy indeed. Although, I’m one of those lonesome shoppers who has to get in the zone with no distractions. I’m quite happy in my own company so I don’t really mind.
I’ve been doing style posts for some time and it’s only until this year that I have really found my “voice” when it comes to my style and what I like to wear. I think I’ve come to realise that you need certain staples in life and that you can stick with the same style & be okay. I used to think I had to have some really “out there” outfits that were different but in all honesty it got tiring. It’s nice being able to look at my wardrobe and see lots of things that can go together. It’s easy. And if I’m honest, I’ve become lazy!
I know my link to the Bloggers Lounge #BLAwards2015 is always at the bottom of my post but I really would love for you to vote for me for “Best Fashion Blog of the Year” as I feel that just from this nomination has truly given me a kick up the bum and a real boost of my confidence, and boy have I needed that for a long time. You can vote here!
