Whilst I think you may have a screw lose, I kinda feel a little sorry for you, hence why I have put together this last minute luxury gift guide. The perfect mix of fashion, beauty and lifestyle products which I think might just tick a few things off your shopping list year. They say it’s not what’s under the tree that makes Christmas, but those who are around it – but sometimes a little luxury gift giving never hurt nobody. Am I right?
I’m a bag lover, always have been and always will be so this gorgeous Vivienne Westwood bag is the perfect addition to a gals wardrobe. This one especially is great because it resembles my coveted, vintage, quilted Chanel bag (but I just haven’t quite for the pennies to stretch that far, just yet!)
Okay, okay. This one is for the men. This Page & Cooper Dress Watch is essentially the most expensive item on the list, but just look at it. Isn’t it stunning? Look at it again. Absorb all it’s beautiful glory. Personally, I’d wear it even as a woman. The Sinn watch also comes with a delightful gift box which you can neatly present to your loved one on Christmas day. So, husband, if you are reading this, I need a new watch to go with my Olivia Burton please!
Ever since I smelt some perfume my boss was wearing I had to know what it was. Turned out some lovely person bought her the Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Cologne for her birthday and I’ve been seriously lusting after it since. It’s quite a fruity smell, yet a little masculine which is probably why I love it so much. I can’t cope with sweet smells and this is far from it. Again, husband, if you are reading this? (Psss, if you haven’t already guessed this is practically just things I’d love at the moment? Oops.)
If there’s a nail polish I swear by it’s Tom Ford Nail Lacquer. Not a day goes by where my nails aren’t perfectly polished (to the point it’s become an addiction) if I haven’t got my gellish manicure I will paint my nails in Tom Ford. Perfect for that chic finish, it’s pretty hardwearing too!
This one won’t break the bank but as soon as I saw this cute bottle I knew that it would be the perfect luxury stocking filler. The Bubble – The smallest bottle of sparkling wine is all 125ml of pure goodness. It’s described as light, fresh and lively citrus notes which is exactly what I would want from a sparkling wine – plus Selfridges advocate using a straw to drink it? How cute!
I’m not a massive make-up fan but when I want to add a bit of colour to my lip I always head straight to myYSL Lipsticks. Colour 101 is the perfect shade of red, not too garish but just the right amount of je nais sais quoi to make your lips pop. At £25 it’s not cheap but a lipstick that will last you a lifetime.
I’ve always had a thing about White Company Candles – they are the perfect gift to give to someone you love, perfectly packaged and a rather delicious scent, I specifically chose fig as I’ve got a Diptyque one burning right now. I’n hankering for my mum to start lighting the one I bought her last year otherwise I’m going to steal from under her nose. How can you not light a candle?
Again, this is from the men’s section but this White Company Cashmere Scarf is to die for. Cashmere is the ultimate luxury fabric and this one was reduced to around the £50 mark. Whilst it’s not cheap it will certainly keep you warm and snug for the rest of the Winter.
And last but not least I had to have something travel related and this John Lewis Globe was no less. I already have a globe, but this one would certainly fit in with my idea of the perfect room filler for when I have my dreamy cottage/house. I’d love to spend my time spinning it and letting a pointed finger decide on our next adventure. That’d be a story to tell the kids!
