I make absolutely no apologies for the photo heavy post here. When you feelin’ good, you feelin’ good. Am I right? And that Saturday morning I was most certainly #werkingit. I’d gone to the effort of blow drying my hair till it was burnt to a singe ready for the Bloggers Brunch event in Leeds that day and I needed to look my best. After all, the blogging Goddess that is Hannah Gale was going to be there too. To complete my ensemble (seeing as the sun was shining gloriously that day too, well for all but 5 minute before I walked out the house) I knew it was time to deck myself out with a little, cheeky bardot top from New Looks Summer range and you can find this little sexual number here. But alas, as I walked to the bus stop (because I’m a super cool, bus wanker at the age of 26) the heavens opened, leaving me questioning my summery get-up.
Now I thought Leeds might not quite be ready for the drowned rat look that I expected to be channeling when I stepped foot off the bus, but luckily, the weather God’s were looking down on me that day and said “Hey, QueenBeady. Just playin’. We gon’ give you sunshine.” to which I responded with a imaginary mini fist bump. I well & truly conquered. My summer look was not wasted. So after we ate a copious amount of super sexy pancakes and enjoyed the blogger dreams of flatlays, peonies and cute earthenware cups and saucers at the Bloggers brunch, hosted by Jaywing PR, some of the galdems decided to head off for even more food and photos.
Okay, right. Woah, woah. STOP. HOLD THE FREAKING PHONE. We have to acknowledge these tremendous faltform sandals. And if you wanna keep scrolling do, but I got something pretty important to say about them. Not only were they reeeeally comfortable and I mean that sincerely, you look pretty, damn fine in them (if I do say so myself?) and wait for it, this is the best part. They have been knocked down in the sale from £42, wait for it, to £20. And they still have size 5’s available. I’ll forgive you if you leave this page immediately and purchase them. Now, I’ll be honest I’ve been looking for a pair like this since I’ve seen them on Instagram (I’m easily swayed) but could not get hold of the ones on ASOS. So after much (soul) searching I realised I still needed some so I kept looking and looking and looking till I was blue in the face and finally landed upon these beauties. You can thank me later.
You’ve most definitely seen these jeans, bag & watch on the blog countless times. They are classic pieces that have stood the test of time and it’s easy to see why, they are timeless. They pretty much go everywhere with me and these jeans are the perfect pair for travelling in. It got me thinking about the perfect holiday wear and how the bardot trend is such a strong contender for this years summer stylin’ too and byusing Style on Tour Hub you can make sure you are absolutely nailing it in the Summer Style stakes. If I could count on my hands how many pieces I want from their pastel hued, dreamy prints and holiday vibing collections, I would need a hundred hands. No lie. I’ve got a few more pieces packed for my stay in Nice with University Rooms this coming weekend & I can’t wait for you to see them. I want to channel my inner French woman.
So guys, I’m just gonna end it here as this has been a heavily discussed piece on what I’m wearing rather than anything of a huge amount of wisdom here (except for my impeccable sale finds for you guys.) If you feel like you are rocking it that day in whatever sense, whip out the camera, take a photo and make yourself smile. Sometimes, we just gotta spread the #selflovebug – Keep on being beautiful!
