#STATIONSTYLE WITH VIRGIN TRAINS EAST COAST | QUEENBEADY

October 25, 2016

If there’s two passions in my life, it’s fashion and travel. Combine the two and imagine the element I would be in. Well, that happened. Yes it did. Can you see my little face sat behind this laptop now? Yes, I’m grinning like a Cheshire Cat. Mid September I collab’ed with Virgin Trains East Coast  and Pretty Little Thing to find the “most stylist traveller” at Leeds Train Station. Boy, was it exciting. Virgin East Coast offer a wide range of UK destinations on their train journey’s and the prices are pretty phenomenal too. I’m already planning a trip to Edinburgh or London to take advantage of their direct routes from Leeds.

Those who know of Leeds will certainly be aware of how style is depicted in so many different ways in and around the city. Known for it’s cool, eclectic vibes I knew that we’d be seeing some seriously fashionable people. You know the ones, they are just too cool that it hurts! </3 (you like the old school Myspace vibes there?)

Well that’s wrap with #StationStyle @virgintrainseastcoast + @officialplt we are just deciding on our two finalists! Keep your eyes peeled on Twitter to see if you made it! ❤️

To me style is a very unique thing. There’s three things that I define a big part of style, personality, wear-ability and the ability to make contemporary fashion to work for you. My style is a mix of boho and classic style that I think works for me in my own way. I like to follow up and coming trends and make them more for me because not everything always suits me. I wouldn’t say I’m particularly fashionable but I like to think that I can rustle something up that doesn’t look too horrendous.

Leeds did not disappoint. Girls everywhere were dressed to the nines be it a really cool street vibe to the incredibly cool hipster types heading back to uni. We scouted out some of our favourite outfits and snapped them. One of the lucky girls was in with the chance of winning a £100 Pretty Little Thing voucher to spend and everyone received a 10% voucher to spend online. I have to say that I was a wee bit jealous of the girls.

After we whittled it down to our two finalists, Holly & Ciara (out of a fantastic crop of gals) it was down to the public to decide who would win the title of Leeds #StationStyle winner!  And our lucky winner was Holly who walked away with a £100 voucher to spend (still jealous!)

Have you travelled with Virgin East Coast Trains before? Let me know the must-see and must-do things in Edinburgh & London so I can decide where to book my train tickets to?
