5 COACH BREAKS WITH NATIONAL HOLIDAYS TO BOOK FOR A LOVED ONE THIS CHRISTMAS* | QUEENBEADY

November 1, 2018

This is a sponsored collaboration with National Holidays.

It’s getting to that time of year again when you start pulling your hair out deciding what to get for those closest to you at Christmas. I drive myself round in circles trying to choose what my husband would like best that it makes me dizzy. Picking something meaningful that looks like you’ve taken time to choose each of their prezzies without breaking the bank can be a mean task but I have just the thing that covers all basis’ for your friends and family. I’ve always liked surprising the husband or family members with breaks away but it can become quite costly. Luckily, having travelled with National Holidays recently, I realised that there are travel alternatives that don’t break the bank and offer a more relaxed approach to holidaying! Here are 5 coach breaks with National Holidays to book for a loved one this Christmas.

LONDON THEATRE BREAK

London Showtime Trips are such a fun trip to take with someone who has a passion for the West End! We recently travelled with National Holidays on one of these trips to see Mamma Mia and now I have the bug. I want to check out a whole load of other shows and travelling with National Holidays offers such great value for money when it comes to the whole trip. Our trip was gifted, however, it would have been £149pp which includes coach travel to and from the selected UK pick-up point, free time in London along with great seats at the show and an overnight stay at 4 star hotel with breakfast. If you were to book all these elements independently you would end up spending an arm and a leg, some of the show tickets are nearly that price alone! This is one for all to enjoy but I bet the Mum’s would absolutely adore this as a gift this year. Make it extra Christmas-sy by fitting in a trip to the Ice Skating rick at the Natural History Museum in your free time! It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside just thinking about it.

HARRY POTTER STUDIO TOUR

This ones for the Potterheads amongst us. For the young who are only just entering this wizarding world, to those of us who have been reading the books when they first came out all those years ago. This place has long been on my list of places I want to go to and National Holidays offer some great deals to visit the magical Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden. The Studios Tour allows guests to be transported in to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and experience the joy of one of the most successful film series of all time. Prices start from only £79pp which is very friendly on the ol’ purse strings if you want to take the whole family along! What a great way to spend some quality, family time together.

A SPORTS TRIP

Sports holiday by coach are incredibly cheap alternative than going through one of the specialist sporting holiday tour operators out there. There’s plenty to choose from such as the Formula 1, the rugby, from snooker to darts. Those who are sports-mad will definitely thank you for thinking outside of the box this Christmas. A 7 days trip to the Monaco F1 (one of the most expensive ticketed Formula 1 events there is!) starts from £599.  I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw how reasonably priced it was. I best not let Mr C see this as I know what he could be getting for Christmas this year!

DISNEYLAND PARIS

They say it’s the happiest place on earth – and I wouldn’t disagree that Disneyland is one of those places that feels like a warm, fuzzy hug when you walk through those entrance gates and enter Walt’s home turf! There’s the fast, thrill seeking rides for the big kids and the whirling, twirling teacup style rides for the younger ones – it really covers all basis’ for anyone who wants to dip their toes in to the world of theme parks. Whether you are young or old, let’s face it, Disneyland is a treat for everyone. I know I turn in to a big kid as soon as I put those Minnie ears on! And let’s face it, who doesn’t want to see Mickey & Minnie dressed up like Mr and Mrs Claus this Christmas time because, come on, it’s hella cute?!

A CHRISTMAS MARKET

Of course a Christmas Market is a fabulous way to ring in the festive season. There’s nothing quite like wandering around looking at all the pretty trinkets whilst drinking all the mulled wine when it’s cold. National Holidays have plenty of Christmas Market breaks in the UK and abroad that can get you in the mood for Christmas. If you’re wanting to keep it closer to home why not head to the famous Manchester Christmas Market or cross the English Channel and head to Bruges Christmas Market (it’s only £69pp!) to eat ALL the chocolate and waffles. Doesn’t that sound just perfect?

Have these trips given you some great ideas for Christmas presents this year? If all else fails you can always buy vouchers!
