Okay, okay. I hold my hands up. I’m guilty of spending one whole week in the Caribbean Sunshine, eating, drinking and lounging around on a Jamaican Beach in Montego Bay. At the beginning of 2018 we splurged on a luxury trip to Jamaica as we knew that this year we were going to be looking for a new house as we had outgrown our first ever home.
So, with a few taps and a couple of credit card details later, 7 days later we were boarding a plane to the sunshine island where we’d be staying at theSecrets St. James Resort! So, sit back and relax whilst I take you with us…
Because we didn’t do a huge amount whilst we were there, except for mostly doing nothing around the hotel for 7 days, I didn’t have a long blog post to share with you so I do hope you’ll enjoy being whisked away (virtually) on our short vlog from the trip…
Everything about our week away at the Secret St. James Resortwas above and beyond our expectations. The staff, without fail, always had a smile on their faces. The food in every restaurant was extremely tasty (and plentiful) – we’d enjoy buffet service for breakfast and lunch and in the evening the a la carte restaurants were out of this world! The jerk chicken cart in the late afternoon was a huge highlight for us too! The drinks were always made to perfection, and potent too.
Our room upgrade to a sea view, top floor suite made waking up every moment to the sunrise and waves lapping against the shore an absolute pleasure – in fact, can I wake up like that every morning please?
If you have any questions that you’d like me to answer about the hotel or how we booked our holiday, please just drop me a comment or an email!
