THE QUEENBEADY COMMUNITY NEWSLETTER

I can hear it, in that lady’s, Cornish, high-pitched voice that was played on Radio 1 over and over again when they announced a snap general election.

“Not another one?!”

(If you know, you know.)

Okay, so every man and their dog has a newsletter these days & you might think you don’t need another one in your life. You don’t need the self-indulgent posts that fill your inbox on a weekly basis. I get it. They are a bit of a chore but I’m really hoping that mine might make you want to click subscribe and not roll your eyes!

To be honest, the idea of a newsletter has always intrigued me. How can I interact with my readers on a more personal basis? But, would anyone really care? And more importantly, did I have the time to do it often enough?

I’m just under halfway through my e-blogger course from Monica Stott of the Travel Hack (which I have to say has been groundbreaking and would highly recommend enrolling on if you don’t mind sparing £25 a month for 6 months to help you take your blog to the next level.) It’s helped me fall back in love with blogging and whilst I started to realise in 2018 where my blog was going it has completely steered the direction even further.

That means that my “Stylish & Slow Adventures through travel blogging” will be even more prominent going forward. Travel is and has always been my main passion in life. After all the feedback I’ve received you love that I offer luxury yet affordable travel options and that is what I’m going to keep giving you!

But for those who also love my lifestyle pieces, I wanted to make sure that there was somewhere we could catch up like old friends still but not interrupt the niche of the blog too much.

Thus, the QueenBeady Community Newsletter was born.

It’s going to be a newsletter that hits you fortnightly and celebrates you, the reader too. I’ll be offering my 5 favourite things that I’ve done, seen, read or heard that week. There’ll be Blogger Q&A’s so you can discover other like-minded bloggers and creatives (please get in touch if you’d like to be involved!) There will be “in the spotlight” pieces about local businesses and I’ll be sharing my favourite Instagram posts from the 4 Hashtag Communities I’ve created over the years: #happyselves #chattycaptioncommunity #thisishowihueit and #stylishandslowadventuring – collectively these tags have nearly 100K photos linked to these hashtags (how incredible is that?)

It’s about celebrating our creative community and keeping it well and truly alive!

I’m sure over time, as the newsletter develops there will be more exciting updates but for now I have so many of you wanting to be involved that it makes me squeal a little bit.

If you’d like to read the first volume of it, click here. And in order to keep receiving them in your inbox, please do sign up below:

For now though, have a fantastic New Years and I will most probably be back with another blog post very soon!

Thanks for sticking around….
