MY FAVOURITE SPAS WITH GREAT FACILITIES

This is a sponsored collaboration post – My favourite Spas with great facilities

As much as I love a good facial or massage when I head to a spa, but trying to kill 4 hours of time can be quite hard if you’re spending an afternoon at a spa without a treatment. Yes, you could get sloshed in the jacuzzi but if you want a real experience you need to make sure that the spa itself has plenty of facilities. Here are my favourite spas with great facilities facilities.

MOTTRAM HALL, CHESHIRE

I was lucky enough to stay at this hotel a few years ago when I went for some training with work. The huge bonus was that as a hotel guest you can get access to the amazing spa! (That definitely wasn’t the reason we asked to stay here! Wink wink!)

The gorgeous, curved Grecian/Roman style pool is such a lovely spot to relax with the jacuzzi bubbles after a day of training and it’s got an indoor sauna and steam bath, too.

Usually you have access to the Al Fresco section, however at the moment this area is currently closed for refurbishment. This is where you would find a gorgeous outdoor sauna, jacuzzi, a Brechelbath which is a log cabin filled with wood shavings and a much gentler heat and more. The area re-opens after the 28th October so keep your eyes peeled for that. I’d personally suggest booking a trip once this area is back open to enjoy more facilities.

If you’re looking for special deals for spa days in Cheshire then I’d thoroughly recommend taking a trip to Mottram Hall.

RUDDING PARK, HARROGATE

I’ve said it time and time again, Rudding Park Spa is the best spa I have ever been to. Perhaps it rivals some of the worlds best spas too. In terms of its beautiful location and grounds in the rolling hills of Harrogate, the facilities here are jam-packed and are second to none.

The huge swimming pool is extremely inviting, as is the outdoor, rooftop hot tub where you can enjoy a glass of Tattinger!  Plus the outdoor pool / jacuzzi area is a perfect spot to relax and watch the world unwind – we got to enjoy it in the snow and it was beautiful.

The Rooftop Spa area also includes a large sauna that looks out on to the grounds of Rudding Park, a very large steam room, a herb room (similar to the steam room but with the fresh scents of handpicked herbs), foot spas and tropical storm rain showers too.

There’s even a Mud Rasul room that you can try out.

ALPAMARE WELLNESS SPA, SCARBOROUGH

A strong contender for the spa with the most facilities I’ve ever experienced goes to the Alpamare Spa. It stands quite unlikely as a match to the other spas I’ve visited before as it’s attached to its sister water park, but this place packs a huge punch when it comes to what facilities it offers and is quite a surprising spa!

From a hay bath room to a huge sauna world room with different saunas to try out, and the hot stone area is rather large.

Not only can you enjoy the stunning spa facilities here, the entrance gives you access to the water park too! So if you’re feeling like a big kid you can nip next door and ride the wave pool, slip down some slides or chill out in the ionized, jacuzzi pools outside!

This place is somewhere the whole family can enjoy!

What spas have you been to that have amazing facilities?
