With World Well-being Week underway I’ve teamed up with the BloomLocal team again for your chance to win a bunch of flowers to be delivered to your door. Plus we’ve got 39 things to do during World Well-being Week that could help!

Want to be in with a chance to win? Read on…

Let’s face it, the state of affairs at the moment mean we all need a little pick me up, so if you are able to send a small gift someones way it would probably mean the world.

As a newly expectant Mum it’s also imperative that I look after my own mental well-being as I grow this tiny little human, and the gestures don’t have to be big at all to make sure I’m looking after myself with care.

If you’ve been following our fertility/pregnancy journey, you will have seen that I’ve just been diagnosed with gestational diabetes so now more than ever I need to start looking after myself better.

Even if you’re not pregnant, you might want to try something on this list during World Well-being Week to make sure you are giving yourself the space to feel calm and relaxed.

Here’s a short list of things you can do to lift your spirits during World Well-being Week

  1. Use your lunch breaks wisely, do something fun to break up your day
  2. Buy yourself an ice-cream during this hot weather
  3. Buy a book from a local charity shop & go to a quiet spot and read
  4. Plan your next holiday destination
  5. Journal your days thoughts and feelings
  6. Send yourself some flowers
  7. Meet a friend for coffee
  8. Take a walk in nature – let mother earth restore your soul
  9. Find a peaceful spot and unwind by meditating
  10. Listen to your favourite podcast
  11. Do some colouring in (it’s amazing how your mind can just forget everything else)
  12. Call someone you love
  13. Go on that solo date you’ve been dying to do
  14. Work on a healthier, more balance diet to recharge your energy levels
  15. Head to the beach or some form of water, it’s calming
  16. Close your eyes and just listen to birdsong
  17. Make sure you get your vitamin d fix
  18. Drink plenty of water
  19. Learn a new hobby
  20. Book a show, gig or festival so you have something to look forward to
  21. Write a gratitude list each day
  22. Start gardening – it’s heavenly
  23. Recharge your crystals in the sunshine or evenings moonlight
  24. Binge your favourite Netflix show
  25. Go for an after work drink in a beer garden
  26. Create a memory box
  27. Put on some music and just dance around your home – release those endorphins
  28. Do something you have been putting off so you don’t have to think about it anymore
  29. Spend time with animals – get that Oxycontin fix!
  30. Treat yourself to a relaxing facial or massage to rest those weary muscles
  31. Write someone a letter, or even better, write yourself a letter to future you
  32. Get in your car and drive with no destination in mind – let the road take you somewhere
