Firstly, merry Christmas. I hope the big man in a red suit brought you everything your hearts desired. I’m still feeling in the giving mood today so stay with me here.
With another year under my belt with this little blog, there have been many photos posted on here and on Instagram. But, let’s face it, you only see the best of the best (well, the best of a bad bunch) because I want you to see everything in a not-so disgusting light. So when I am eventually being normal you get to see that side of me. I thought it would be HI-larious of me to share some outtakes of the year. To be honest, you see a real serious side of me in my blog posts but truth be told, I’m never happier than sounding/looking like an idiot, making jokes and generally just having a LOL a minute at myself. So, let’s have a good ol’ laugh at my expense, seeing as it’s the season of goodwill and all that.
“Quite clearly I’m looking at something in sheer disgust? Whatever it is, it displeases me so.”
“I did not have sexual relations with that woman.”
“Did I know back in July I was going to be doing an outtakes post?”
“EVERYONE AROUND THE WORLD, ARE YOU READY FOR A BRAND NEW BEAT? DANCING IN THE STREETS.”
“Get this f-ing thing offa me.”
“I’m sorry, I think I gotta sneeze.”
“It’s just so tiring standing u- zzzzzz.”
“You should put a bet on me, I look like a real winner.”
“Do you want a third chin with that?”
“Am I having a breakdown midshoot?”
“Look, I’m smizing.”
“Sorry, have I got something round my mouth? Hang on. Has it gone now?”
“I’m a contortionist, don’t you know?”
And there we have it, various images of me looking like a fool (I’m sure there are plenty more from these shoots.) I wanted to share them with you to remind you that we are all human and we can all have very off days. I like to think I don’t take things too seriously. Fashion Blogging can look so glamourous online but the reality is, we can all have a double chin from time to time. And if that’s the case, we should at least try and laugh about it.
Here’s to another year of making silly faces, pulling strange poses and laughing until we cry. I hope to see some of your bloopers too!
