You know when you have one of those moments where you’re shopping and suddenly the room stops moving, all arrows lead to one dress and nothing else matters at all. YOU HAVE TO HAVE THAT DRESS. You know the times I’m talking about, am I right? Well this was one of those sweet moments in time indeed. However, I was in Zara and as much as I love the shop you do need to have a little bit of extra disposable income to afford most things, that, or a super shiny credit card (neither of which I hail to have.)

So I cautiously wandered over, already knowing the outcome of the situation. I’d already seen the scenario far too many times. I’d gaze at the dress, run my fingers down it only for them to land upon the tag and be met with a silly price for a rather lovely (but maybe not worth that much) dress and then I’d finally walk away. Almost sobbing. But the Gods above decided that that day would not be. Instead I was greeted with a purse saving ticket of only £15.99, I think I almost let out a tiny squeal of delight in amongst the super cool cashiers. It was mine. Snatched from the rail, straight to the changing room, it fit like a glove.

In my mind I was envisioning myself twirling around on the white sandy shores on Mexico in this number. It had holiday outfit written all over it. But, I couldn’t wait another x amount of surplus days till September for that moment to come, so of naturally it came out at the weekend for a little twirl. And what a wondrous dress for twirling in, it is.

Because of it’s Boho, Aztec style design I paired with a chunky pair heels and denim jacket to give it that super cool, festival feel about it. And by Christ, was I happy with the results. I can definitely see me enjoying Leeds Festival in this. Maybe I will order another one!

Have you seen a dress that you’ve fallen in love with but put back after learning it’s price? Or did you seize the moment and buy the dream dress? Or like me, think it would be too expensive but found a gem for a steal? Let me know!
