When River Island got in touch with me to take part in their Secret Santa it was an offer I couldn’t refuse. Tasked with choosing 3 blogger babes that I love and matching them with a pack, one of the lucky three would be gifted with lots of River Island Treats from their gift section. Now, I can’t tell you who received my Secret Santa because of course, that would defeat the whole object of Secret Santa.
I chose three equally super gals, but, one of them was lucky enough to receive their gifts (I wish I could send you all some pressies!) now whoever received one of the packages from RI has to be one of my most favourite people I have met through blogging. This girl makes my cheeks ache because when we are together we just laugh and laugh till we are crying. She has the most impeccable sense of style – think Stevie Nicks meets Parisian Chic and she’s an all round hoot. I’m so happy that she got it. I chose the #IPartyWith pack for this girl because when we’ve sunk a few drinks/cocktails the fun just keeps coming! Plus, I’d totally like to party with her more! I do hope she liked the little surprise!
Now, clearly I had been on Santa’s “nice list” this year as River Island sent me some goodies too as a way of saying thank you for taking part. From a colouring book (I find it totally therapeutic) to a big fluffy keyring, there was lots of little bits that will keep me happy for a while. Plus, the babes also treated me to a £20 River Island gift card to spend. I’m heading to Birmingham in January and can’t wait to dive in to the sales with it! I’ve got my eye on these gorgeous boots!
With Christmas presents wrapped and under the tree, it’s time to reflect on 2015. It’s been a year that has flown by so fast I don’t even know where to begin. It’s been filled some amazing experiences, good health and good fun. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and I hope you’ll be back for more posts in 2016.
