Coat C/O Bon Marche | Top Mango | Jeans Topshop | Belt New Look | Trainers ASOS
There is no dress code. All these rules and regulations that we are expected to adhere too are bullshit. I wear what I want and what I feel comfortable in. If I want to experiment then I will. If I’m pleasantly surprised by the outcome then usually it’s something I will wear again. I hate that we all have to be pigeon-holed in a style that “suits our shape.”
Okay, okay. I’m in love with my white trainers and I’ve said it before, they are Adidas Original dupes and they are so comfy. It kind of gives this outfit a bit of a “sports luxe” vibe to it. I love that! It means I can walk around without getting cramp after fifteen minutes because they are so darned comfy.
I adore my coat, it has frequented the blog many times now but it’s just one of those perfect outerwear garments that you can throw on with anything that I just can’t help share it over and over. There are so many versions of this style of coat and they are pretty reasonable now. Because it’s thin you do need to layer up though.
I’m never too sure if I suit light denim but these jeans convince me otherwise, but there’s one thing for certain, they do need to be carefully paired up so you don’t look like trailer trash! Plus I love the style of them, boyfriend or “mom” jeans seem to be the perfect pairing for my rather curvy hips! Ahaaa, take that fashion rules!
Have you got an obsession with anything you own? Winter fashion is definitely one of my favourites!
