I am obsessed with searching online for a new house. I need a new project to work on, even after a year and a half since our wedding I need something to really get my teeth into. So of course with house searching, many an hour is spent looking online at lovely homewares and I have a little vision in my head and it comes in the form of this white and grey style dream board. I really love the scandi style because how minimalist it is but I would love to mix it with a bit of country-esque pieces too.
The cute chair is from Fishpools*, there are some really great, quality pieces on their that come in at pretty low prices which is always a must when putting together a new home. We won’t have a massive budget as we will be taking out a much larger mortgage I imagine to get that dream home. I need online stores like this to make sure a house becomes a home.
Of course, a homewares post is not complete without a mention on H&M now, is it? Let’s face it, they do really affordable pieces that you can dot around your home to look that extra bit special, and even then it doesn’t cost the earth. I especially love the little pineapple jar which would be great for keeping all my little trinkets & jewellery in. I also adore the wooden planting boxes for storage too, they look really rustic and reminds me of some of our wedding details too.
Now, the stool doesn’t look too comfy to sit on, however, I thought you could throw a faux fur rug/throw over it and place a big indoors plant / cactus on it. How instagrammable would that be? It’s always about the little details.
What do you like from this list? Do you like the style too? I’d love to know if you have any other pieces of homeware you would suggest to fit in with this theme too! Let me know in the comments below.
