I’ve never really been a huge fan of the bomber jacket, a jacket that is collarless is an absurd concept to me. I’m not really sure why though? But this black New Look version is something that my wardrobe has clearly been crying out for because quite simply, it’s da bomb. Not to mention the fact that it kinda (slightly) slims me down or is that just wishful thinking. I’ve been thinking about what I wear a lot recently & how I don’t stick to one particular style.
I’m not sure if at my age I should really have a “style” but I enjoy different fashion for different reasons. I often lust over those who can wear classic cuts and work with a real monochrome/neutral pallet and almost look effortless, like getting dressed in the morning is a breeze. I always think those people kinda have their shit together. Know what I’m saying?
Then I fall head over heels in love with the folksy/bohemian style too. I love denim. Denim, denim, denim. Denim shirts, denim dresses, denim jeans. You name it, I want it (or quite regularly, already have it!) It gives me real summer/festival feels when I wear things like that and I imagine will always be a huge style that plays a massive part in my wardrobe.
It’s a bit of a run-in joke that I’m never far from a roll neck jumper. There’s something so snuggly and reassuring than a good ol’ turtleneck? I’m sure you will all agree. But as it get’s warmer I’m not quite sure what the heck I’m gonna do. I’m quite scared to have my neck exposed in the Summer. HELP.
As much as I’d love to look my wardrobe was “together” – I kinda like that fact that I can dip in and out of different styles and play with them a little bit. Do you have a set kind of style or are you like me, a floater in fashion? I’d love to hear what you think.
