I don’t know about you, but I am 100 billion percent ready for some good weather & I think it requires jetting off somewhere European for a little city break, don’t you? It’s less than five weeks till we jet off to sunny (I hope) Nice for a weekend to check out one of University Room’s accommodations. I’m super excited to wander down little streets, people watch with an iced latte in hand and enjoying the sunshine on the promenade. Nothing beats getting a Summer holiday wardrobe ready and I’ve been looking for some inspiration when visiting this beautiful, sea front, French town.
I picked a few little things that I am lusting over, because, who doesn’t like to dream of the Dior sunglasses they’d like to own? Am I right? I burn like a crisp too, so it’s always vital that I have access to a hat to make sure my bulbous head doesn’t go a shade of tomato and start flaking, making me look like I’ve the worst case of dandruff (happens every single holiday. Le sigh.) But of course, I wanna look super cool in one so a floppy hat it shall be.
I’ve been loving all these straw accessories with embroidered or sewn in words such as “Out of Office” or “I’m busy” – it totally has that top level blogger status written all over it, doesn’t it? #LOL. But seriously, they are kinda cute & I want one, so I looked for something a little bit different and this “To the Beach” bag looks all things cute and perfect for a days strolling around aimlessly round Nice.
The perfect tea dress comes in the shape of this Vivien of Holloway dress. A total sucker for things a little “kitsch” this does it all very subtly making it the perfect garment to style whilst on holiday. Plus the floaty material makes it a really cool to wear, add a cute pair of sandals like these ones from Brantano and you’re on your way to having the perfect outfit. Currently a sucker for the neckerchief style, wrap this pale white one round your neck to create that final “Audrey Hepburn”-esque outfit! Winner, winner. Chicken dinner.
How are you styling up your wardrobe for your next holidays? I know I have to do some serious cleansing of my wardrobes but I just can’t seem to stop buying cute little things this summer!
