Especially when it came to baby clothing. Inevitably, we can’t always rely on second hand shopping to do. I was kindly sent a newborn sleepsuit in the light rose pink stripe (I already have purchased the nature design previous to working with AdoraCub – it’s their bestseller!)
The sleepsuit arrived in the cutest little brown box with ribbon tied around it. It would make the perfect gift for any first time parents because of this alone!
What I first noticed with these sleepsuits was how lovely & soft they were (and how I’m sure if I was a baby, I’d love wearing it for that reason alone.) It’s made from 47.5% GOTS certified Organic Cotton, 47.5% Bamboo and 5% Elastane jersey fabric. With that in mind it stays softer against the babies skin and will wash really well. I’m yet to put it through its paces as baby C hasn’t arrived yet but I’m sure I will do very soon.
If you order 6 months & under, they come as a full suit with feet and fold over sleeves so your baby can’t scratch themselves through the night. So you don’t have to think about putting on the mittens and socks (that will most likely fall off through the night!)
The sizing for newborn does look a little bigger than some of my other sleepsuits I have in this size, but hopefully that just means I will get a little bit of extra wear out of it.
The zip fastenings also make it so much easier than the popper or press studs scenario! Simply pop your baby in the sleepsuit and zip up. No more are you having to make sure you’ve joined each popper to the right one to make sure it’s all correct. What a time saver? An absolute a god send.
All that is missing now is our baby getting to wear it. But, that shouldn’t be too much longer now.
