As the days keep ticking by, I’m slowly marking an ”X” on each day. I know I shouldn’t wish my days away but at the moment there is only one thing on my mind and that my friends is a trip to Mexico in 45 days. AS I’m dreaming of cocktails and lounging around on a beautiful white, sandy beach with nothing but the waves to keep my ears company I know I have some major prepping to do. Not only am I working out 2-3 times a week to tone up that dreaded tummy of mine – I’m also needing to keep in tact my hairy legs. Yes you heard me. I have a really hairy body. I actually kind of wear it as a badge of honour now & when the discussion arises of ”how much hair we had as a child?” I’m always first to raise my hand in the air and proudly say ”I looked like a monkey when I was born.” Here there’s even proof; You have to admit it’s a colossal amount of hair, am I right?
Naturally I wish I could rock that look more often, but as a grown adult I have become accustomed to shaving/waxing, you name it, I’ve tried it. So when Veet* offered me the chance to test drive some of their products I was pretty darned happy. Now I’m a pretty sensitive lady when it comes to my skin, you might have seen last week when I rubbed lots of Vicks on my chest I came out in a huge rash. It was not a pretty sight! Well, the beauty of the hair removal cream is that it can be used for home use & that it’s for sensitive skin. PHEW.
Because its formula is enriched with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E that means my skin isn’t going to get irritated which is great. Minimising my worry of coming out in hives everytime I shave! It’s a really simple way to remove hair, in the pack you get a tube of removal cream and a plastic spatula to apply and remove the cream from the leg. All you have to do is apply the cream directly onto the skin with the spatula, spreading the cream evenly to give your leg full coverage, leave the cream on the skin for 3 minutes (remember to time this carefully!) and then use the head of the spatula to test a small area to see if the hair comes away easily. If it does continue to remove the rest of the formula and rinse carefully. And there you have it, wa-la you have silky smooth legs, perfectly ready for the beach! You don’t need to be afraid to bare those legs anymore!
