Je’Taime Beacoup Sunday (or should I have said Dimanche, if we’re really pushing the boat out?) I like Sunday’s. No in fact, I’d go as far as saying I love Sunday’s. It’s the day of rest & it’s the perfect opportunity for being lazy and over indulging in doing whatever the heck you like. We’d had a pretty easy-going Sunday morning just passed, drinking tea in bed & trying to find our next trip on the laptop that it soon reached noon & with the rest of the day ahead we decided it was time for some fresh air & to stretch our little dogs legs!

Close up Je Taime

We are so lucky that my husband’s parents are farmers and have plenty of wide open, green, spacious land where we can go for lovely autumn walks just by ourselves without having to see anyone else. You see, we can be hermits and we adore our own company together. It makes for a good relationship that we can just completely indulge in one another without the need for seeing other people. We always find ourselves happy just pottering along, chatting away. Skye loves having the ball thrown for her, she can do it for hours if we let her.

It also gave us chance to test-drive my brand new camera. James has bought me my first ever DSLR camera & I’m loving playing around with and working out all the features of it. I feel like all my Christmas’ have come at once. Okay, so my birthday isn’t for another two weeks or so but we were both just so eager to get to grips with it! I really hope you’ll see a change of quality when it comes to my blog photos now.

When we head out for our dog walks I like to keep it nice and casual. I recently picked this top up from New Look recently, I wasn’t looking for anything in particular but this slogan ”Je’Taime Beaucoup” tee just jumped out to me as a great piece to add to my AW15 wardrobe. I love their tops because they are super soft so I find myself snuggling up in them, or just throwing them on when I need a quick & easy top for heading out to the shops. My Hunter wellies are a firm fixture when it comes to heading out on crisp days, I’ve had them for about 3 years now and have seen me through many festivals and winter seasons. I can’t live without them!

As soon as we got home Skye collapsed in to her bed, filled with fresh air and tired out we all flopped on the sofa and found the rugby playing in the background, I think it was Romania playing. The shrill sound of the ice-cream van passed only moments later which meant only one thing for it, a ninety-nine was on the cards and a big snuggle on the sofa before we headed back down to the in-laws for a spot of pulled pork sandwiches.

I’m always so sad to say goodbye to the weekend – who isn’t? But I’m so thankful for the time I get to spend with my family and loved ones. I used to work weekends and found it incredibly difficult to fit everything in and around that. Now I have so much more time to relish in the important things in life aside from work. We finally booked a city break, it was a toss up between Copenhagen & Amsterdam. Amsterdam won, it probably always will do for us. We’ve always said that it’s the one city we would happily move to given the opportunity, so I’m so happy that we’ve managed to fit in a weekend break before the end of the year is done.

Are you heading on any city breaks this winter? Are you enjoying the crisp, sunny Autumn days as much as us? I’d love to know.
