Nothing quite says “I’m with the Band” than an actual band tee. Although, the circumstances why I have become the proud owner of one of Ella Eyre’s band tee’s is a sad one. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I had won a meet & greet with Ella Eyre herself and tickets to her gig too. There was a catch, it was 72 hours later on a weekday, in the middle of London. Of course panic stricken, I had personal obligations that I needed to tend to and work commitments forcing me to have to decline the offer. Sad emoji face.
However, despite being out of luck on this one I had a parcel sent through the post complete with this simple white band tee and two signed copies of her album. Having seen Ella Eyre in concert about a year ago in Leeds I was super sad and would have done anything to meet her, I guess you could call me an ”Eyrehead” (yes one of those stupid nicknames for band members, like a “Belieber”, oh lord what have I become?)
I couldn’t let it go to waste so I paired with some super slimming jeans from Boohoo (they are a godsend!) and my long line Vero Moda jacket which has come in so handy at times. It’s the perfect length to just about hide some of my “larger” curves so it really slims me down. But if anything, it the sleek pointed stilletos that really complete the look giving it a bit more substance. I’ve given a band tee a sophisticated twist? I didn’t think that would ever be possible. I guess that’s why I love to experiment with fashion and gives things a little spin.
My trust leather handbag (that I so wish was a Chanel vintage quilted bag, of ciurse!) and Olivia Burton watch are never far when it comes to my outfits. I feel lost without having my watch, in fact I feel a little naked when it’s not on my wrist. My bags the perfect size and it’s seen me to many a gig and festival as it’s not too big and not too small.
