Links of London Afternoon Tea

Bracelet & Charm C/O Links of London

I am a huge fan of Links of London, and I also enjoy the odd afternoon tea too which I’m sure you have figured from my Blog already. So when I got the chance to receive something from the Afternoon Tea Range with Links of London AND indulge in a little bit of cake, it was quite possibly written in the stars. How could one possibly turn down the offer?

I decided that our afternoon tea destination would be Dulcie Butterfly in Boston Spa. It’s quite frankly one of my favourite vintage tea rooms and I needed to have an afternoon cheering my best friend up so it seemed perfect for just that. I have written about Dulcie Butterfly before and you can read all about it here! and since then there have been plenty of other Yorkshire Bloggers lusting for a day out here too. Smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches, along with a jam-packed (excuse the pun) and clotted cream scones and a slice or two of Mama Gumdrops lemon drizzle cake, it made for a great Friday afternoon catching up and gossiping in the best way possible!

I like my jewellery delicate and Links of London do it so well, which is why it’s always my first choice when it comes to picking up classic pieces. The Afternoon Tea range is no different, with it’s ”Quintessentially British” take on the tradition of tea & cake. 200 years after the Duchess of Bedford initiated the innovation of Afternoon Tea, it is still going strong and more than ever it’s something that friends, mother and daughter and all generations can enjoy together. Perhaps this is why I connect with the range so well. There’s nothing I enjoy more than spending time with the ones I love eating cake, drinking tea and possibly indulging in a tall, chilled glass of champagne if I’m feeling in the mood. Sadly, it was a work day and the ever-professional side of me decided not to pursue a glass of the fine stuff, so instead I settled for a cup of the good stuff, tea. But it still made for a great time catching up with my best friend.

I was lucky enough to receive the bracelet and the cup of tea charm, but there also some other great charms to choose from such as the Sterling Silver & 18ct Yellow Gold Vermeil Champagne Bucket Charm and the very cute Vermeil Tea Pot Charm (I think this one is my favourite!) and if you’re thinking of treating yourself or someone you love, be quick as some ranges have already sold out and you don’t want to miss out on this beautifully crafted, British charm set.

Have you seen these charms? Have you got one and are you going to add to the collection? I’d love to hear from you!
